Friends of Amundsen (FOA) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to aid Amundsen High School through fundraising, supporting students, staff, and parents, and promoting school spirit throughout the community.

A big Friends of Amundsen thank you to the Viking community for your tremendous support of this year’s Back to School Boost. Thanks to your generosity, we raised almost $14,000 to boost the Viking Way this school year. GO VIKINGS!
Back to school means it's time for the Back to School Boost, Friends of Amundsen’s 5th annual back-to-school fundraising campaign supporting an important Amundsen initiative.
This year, join FOA in saying YES WAY to the VIKING WAY as we raise money to renew and reenergize the core AHS values: Accountable. Honorable. Scholarly. With your help, Amundsen will bring to life the request of the Student Voice Committee to focus on climate and culture by elevating and celebrating the Viking Way.
Your YES WAY Boost donation will help fund:

Schoolwide celebrations with expenses like a DJ or bouncy house

Community-building activities like class competitions with rewards for the winners

Incentive raffles with quality prizes like high-end spirit wear

Refreshed indoor and outdoor signage promoting the Viking Way

And other activities supporting climate and culture at Amundsen
Our goal for the 2022 Back to School Boost is to raise $25,000 by September 30. Please donate at the level of your choice; no donation is too big or too small.
